Overview

Job Summary This position is located in the Department of Employment Services (DOES), Bureau of Economics and Stability, Office of Unemployment Compensation (OUC). This position will be responsible for researching, planning, developing, implementing, and reviewing policies, practices, methods, and procedures that drive the accurate and efficient processing of unemployment insurance benefit and tax data. Duties And Responsibilities

Identifies, reviews, defines, and documents workflow processes used to process unemployment insurance data. Assists in the documentation of business requirements for unemployment insurance (UI) projects. Makes recommendations and develops plans for process and procedural innovations. Monitors service performance of programs in order to ensure the delivery of expected services at all levels required of citizens and to identify emerging service needs and problems. Tracks the performance, manages required reports for federal performance monitoring, and assists in the dissemination of communications related to standard operating procedures. Assists in the development of performance standards and the agencies compliance to performance management programs of the District government. Qualifications And Education

Specialized Experience:

Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the CS-11 grade level in the District of Columbia government service obtained from the public or private sector. Specialized experience is experience which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position and has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. $80,784- $103,333; Based on qualifications and funding Collective Bargaining Unit (Union):

This position has been designated as Security sensitive therefore the incumbent of this position will be subject to enhanced suitability screening pursuant to Chapter 4 of DC Personnel Regulations, Suitability and as such, incumbents of this position shall be subject to criminal background checks, background investigations, and mandatory drug and alcohol testing, as applicable. Residency Requirement:
