At Natixis, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Credit Officer (director-level) to join our Credit Risk Financial Institutions Group (FIG). This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about credit risk assessment and wants to make a significant impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
As a Credit Officer, your primary responsibility will be to review and assess various proposals from the Alternative Credit and Securitized Products Groups ("Credit Markets") from a credit risk perspective. Proposals will likely include CLO warehouse / lending facilities, capital call facilities, ABS warehouse / lending facilities, and more. Conduct detailed credit analysis and risk assessments, focusing primarily on structured credit and securitized product proposals. Review and analyze credit agreements and structures of securitized products and/or warehouses, including performing and reviewing stress tests based on the proposed collateral. Identify and clearly articulate potential risks and positive attributes of each proposal, supporting the business while minimizing undue risks and credit loss. Conduct due diligence calls or visits when appropriate and represent the bank professionally with clients. Prepare comprehensive written risk opinions and analyses; articulate a convincing case in support of your risk opinion. Collaborate with bankers and originators to meet closing deadlines without compromising the quality of credit analysis. Review deal documents and challenge Front Office analyses when necessary. Present findings to senior management and credit committees. Monitor the existing Credit Market portfolio and ensure covenant compliance, paying close attention to early warning indicators of credit risk deterioration. Stay informed about industry trends and macroeconomic issues that may impact the portfolio, recommending changes or actions affecting specific clients or groups of clients as needed. Undertake additional tasks and projects as required, contributing to the broader FIG team. The salary range for the Director level position will be between $180,000 - $205,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skill set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance. Profil et compétences requises
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (required). Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or a related field, preferably within financial institutions or structured finance (required). Strong understanding of structured credit products, securitization, and related risk assessment methodologies. Proven experience with due diligence processes and credit agreement analysis. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to various stakeholders. Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and risk management frameworks is a plus. Proficiency in financial modeling and risk assessment tools is preferred. Willingness to stay current with industry developments and continuously enhance knowledge in the field.
