AtNatixis,weareseekingadedicatedanddetail-orientedCreditOfficer(director-level)tojoinourCreditRiskFinancialInstitutionsGroup(FIG).Thisisanexcitingopportunityforaprofessionalwhoispassionateaboutcreditriskassessmentandwantstomakeasignificantimpactinadynamicandfast-pacedenvironment.
KeyResponsibilities :
AsaCreditOfficer,yourprimaryresponsibilitywillbetoreviewandassessvariousproposalsfromtheAlternativeCreditandSecuritizedProductsGroups(“CreditMarkets”)fromacreditriskperspective.ProposalswilllikelyincludeCLOwarehouse / lendingfacilities,capitalcallfacilities,ABSwarehouse / lendingfacilities,andmore.
Conductdetailedcreditanalysisandriskassessments,focusingprimarilyonstructuredcreditandsecuritizedproductproposals.
Reviewandanalyzecreditagreementsandstructuresofsecuritizedproductsand / orwarehouses,includingperformingandreviewingstresstestsbasedontheproposedcollateral.
Identifyandclearlyarticulatepotentialrisksandpositiveattributesofeachproposal,supportingthebusinesswhileminimizingunduerisksandcreditloss.
Conductduediligencecallsorvisitswhenappropriateandrepresentthebankprofessionallywithclients.
Preparecomprehensivewrittenriskopinionsandanalyses;articulateaconvincingcaseinsupportofyourriskopinion.
Collaboratewithbankersandoriginatorstomeetclosingdeadlineswithoutcompromisingthequalityofcreditanalysis.
ReviewdealdocumentsandchallengeFrontOfficeanalyseswhennecessary.
Presentfindingstoseniormanagementandcreditcommittees.
MonitortheexistingCreditMarketportfolioandensurecovenantcompliance,payingcloseattentiontoearlywarningindicatorsofcreditriskdeterioration.
Stayinformedaboutindustrytrendsandmacroeconomicissuesthatmayimpacttheportfolio,recommendingchangesoractionsaffectingspecificclientsorgroupsofclientsasneeded.
Undertakeadditionaltasksandprojectsasrequired,contributingtothebroaderFIGteam.
The salary range for the Director level position will be between $, - $,. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
Required Skills / Qualifications / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or a related field, preferably within financial institutions or structured finance (required).
Strong understanding of structured credit products, securitization, and related risk assessment methodologies.
Proven experience with due diligence processes and credit agreement analysis.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to various stakeholders.
Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and risk management frameworks is a plus.
Proficiency in financial modeling and risk assessment tools is preferred.
Willingness to stay current with industry developments and continuously enhance knowledge in the field.
