Seek an experienced attorney to join the Labor & Employment practice group. Advise clients regarding employment and labor law compliance, policies, best practices, contracts, administrative advocacy, and litigation. Coordinate and collaborate with multiple attorneys on a variety of assignments. Qualifications
6-9+ years of experience in employment and labor law. Strong academic credentials. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Significant litigation experience before the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, the EEOC, and the Department of Labor. Experience representing employers with respect to enforcement and defense of restrictive covenants. Knowledge of employment discrimination (Title VII, ADEA, ADA and state laws), FMLA, affirmative action, OSHA, COBRA, breach of contract, traditional labor matters, whistleblower litigation, wage and hour issues, ERISA, and termination counseling. Experience drafting separation, employment, and restrictive covenant agreements, and employment policies. Ability to work independently and collaboratively; strong project management and teamwork skills. Detail-oriented, organized, efficient, and professional with a strong work ethic. Solutions-oriented approach and ability to anticipate client needs. Robust legal research skills. Benefits and Culture
