(selected responsibilities and context): Works on data / information management problems of moderate scope and complexity where analyses of situations or data require a review of a variety of factors. Develops and creates databases for EAOP staff to collect specified data from students in the 25 target schools and builds databases for users at large-scale events with over 1,000 participants. Creates user-friendly and safe technology interfaces for students which automate data collection at school sites and large-scale events. Exercises judgment within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action. Experience working in a school setting or with minors in academic preparation programs provides insight into the needs of software users and compliance with school-district and university policies. Produces annual reports, develops dashboards, and ensures data accuracy by checking data schemas. Researches data trends and acts as liaison for routine data-capturing needs, providing data to EAOP leadership and partners. Independently develops, sustains and improves data collection, entry and analysis processes for project teams. Collaborates with teams using tools like Lacai, Tableau, MyEmma, Canva, and Python to interpret and report data. Responsible for training users on data platforms and resolving routine issues. Qualifications : Knowledge of data management systems, practices and standards. Knowledge of logical data design, data warehouse design, data integration, or management of web content or unstructured data. Ability to prepare simple data models under guidance of more senior professionals. Familiarity with logical/relational, dimensional, and document data models; intermediate knowledge of relevant rules and regulations. Ability to read, interpret and implement policy; demonstrated ability to work with diverse backgrounds. Experience working with youth, teachers, school administration and other school/district personnel. Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Self-motivated, able to work independently or in a team; strong problem-solving and deadline-driven abilities. Service orientation, strong organizational, analytical and design skills; knowledge of Excel, Lacai, Tableau, MyEmma, Canva, and Python. Ability to represent information in abstract models; critical thinking and attention to detail. Special Conditions : Must pass a background check at the university and, as needed, the school districts served. As a California Mandated Reporter, must take training and sign the CANRA Form. Pay Information : Pay transparency: Annual Full Pay Range $71,600 - $127,400 (prorated if appointment
