Implementation Specialist
– Minneapolis, MN | W2 Contract, full benefits. Hybrid and onsite 3 days a week. Base pay range: $40.00/hr - $45.00/hr. This range is provided by Synergis. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Role : Implementation Specialists are responsible for onboarding new customers onto our clients travel expense solution. Responsibilities include: consulting to determine the best configurations for the client’s business needs; configuring the software with and for the customer; coordinating with internal teams on complex technical integrations; tracking, managing and providing regular updates on the progress of an implementation project; maintaining ongoing communication with client-side and internal stakeholders throughout the process.
What you’ll do : Provide excellent customer service to customers Share best practices and product expertise to maximize value from the investment Acquire technical product knowledge through training, self-directed research and testing, and internal consultation Lead client-facing kick-offs, requirement gathering sessions and configuration review meetings Coordinate with internal and external technical teams for custom integrations Report project status and blockers to Customer Success leadership during weekly meetings Train clients to operate self-sufficiently on the platform Conduct webinars and group training sessions for smaller, independent customers Share ideas to enhance operational efficiency and innovation Collaborate cross-functionally with the Customer Success Management team to ensure a timely, complete implementation This role is hybrid and onsite 3 days a week
What we’re looking for : 3+ years of implementation, customer success, or customer support experience Meticulous attention to detail in workflows and processes Knowledge of accounting/finance systems (e.g., Netsuite, Sage, QuickBooks) and accounting practices preferred; if lacking, demonstrated drive to quickly learn core concepts Strong interpersonal skills, clear communication and collaboration; ability to coach and train customers effectively Comfort presenting to C-level executives Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects on tight timelines Growth mindset and drive to continuously improve
