The Healthcare Industry Group (HIG), including Healthcare Services (HCS), focuses on delivering transformational change to the healthcare industry. We advise organizations on financial and operational performance improvement, strategic growth, and value realization across the investment lifecycle. Our services include interim management, restructuring, revenue cycle management, M&A, compliance and regulatory work, digital technology and analytics. Our clients span health systems and providers, physician groups, ancillary providers, medical schools, vision, laboratory, dental and behavioral health, managed care and health plans, government programs, healthcare investors and lenders, medical devices, suppliers and life sciences. Role focus

HCS focuses on serving portfolio companies of private equity firms and other healthcare organizations. Services include performance improvement/operational turnarounds, cost optimization, M&A services, finance operations, and interim management (including CFO services). Your Contribution

As a Senior Consultant you will work closely with healthcare clients on a range of complex assignments. You will use independent judgment and critical thinking to gather data, design practical solutions, and drive financial and operational improvements based on client needs. Depending on the project, responsibilities typically include: Identify and implement opportunities to reduce cost structure by redesigning org structures, eliminating non-value-added tasks, and refocusing the business on high-value activities Optimize month-end close processes and management reporting to support decision making Build and manage financial models and perform financial and operating analyses (e.g., synergy analyses, 13-week cash flow, pro forma statements) Guide clients through crises or quick improvements by structuring and executing performance improvement plans Develop operational data analyses to create KPI metrics and assess client operations; conduct client interviews to understand the situation Summarize analyses, draw conclusions, and present recommendations Lead work streams within projects, manage day-to-day engagement priorities with guidance from senior leaders Prepare client-ready deliverables and presentations; present to clients Coach and mentor junior staff Build client relationships and identify opportunities to expand scope Support marketing initiatives and pitch materials Contribute to building tools and templates for products and services Qualifications

We seek individuals with an entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset who can manage ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Senior Consultant you will have the opportunity to demonstrate leadership, integrity and objectivity when interacting with clients at all levels. Typical qualifications include: High energy with a passion for healthcare and solving complex issues Minimum of five (5) years of experience in healthcare, consulting, or healthcare-focused roles (e.g., healthcare banking, accounting, audit, private equity, or healthcare operations) Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; ability to build 13-week cash flow and three-statement models Advanced PowerPoint and Excel; experience with Visio, Tableau/Power BI, SQL, SPSS is a plus Solid project management and organizational abilities Working knowledge of healthcare finance, operations, and relevant regulations Ability to exercise good judgment and escalate issues as needed Ability to coach and mentor junior staff Excellent verbal and written communication to all client levels Willingness to travel as required BA/BS and/or MBA/MS in Accounting, Finance or related healthcare field (e.g., MHA, MPH) Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA, or progress toward such certifications Your Journey at A&M
