The Healthcare Industry Group (HIG) focuses on performance improvement, growth, and value creation across the investment lifecycle, including interim management, restructuring, revenue cycle, M&A, compliance, digital technology, and analytics. The Healthcare Services practice (HCS) serves private equity portfolio companies and healthcare organizations with services such as performance improvement, cost optimization, M&A support, finance operations, and interim management. You will work with clients in health systems, physician groups, ancillary providers, medical schools, life sciences, managed care, government programs, medical devices, and other healthcare sectors. Responsibilities

Identify and implement opportunities to reduce cost structures by redesigning organizations, eliminating non-value-added tasks, and refocusing on high-value activities. Optimize client month-end close processes and management reporting to support decision making. Build and manage financial models and conduct financial and operational analyses (e.g., synergy analyses, 13-week cash flow, pro forma statements). Guide clients through crises or rapid change by structuring and executing performance improvement plans. Develop operational data analyses and KPI metrics; conduct client interviews to understand operations and surface actionable insights. Summarize analyses, draw conclusions, and make recommendations from large data sets. Lead work streams and manage day-to-day engagement priorities with guidance from senior leaders. Prepare client-ready deliverables and presentations; present findings to clients. Coach and mentor junior staff; build and nurture client relationships and identify opportunities to expand scope. Support marketing efforts by assisting with pitch preparation and marketing materials. Contribute to building product and service offering tools and templates. Working as a partner to clients, you will develop an in-depth understanding of processes, financial positions, and key performance drivers to address issues from the big picture to the details. High-energy individual with a passion for healthcare and solving complex issues. Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare, consulting, or related experience (healthcare banking, accounting, audit, private equity, or healthcare operations). Advanced Excel proficiency with financial modeling; ability to build 13-week cash flow and three-statement model. Advanced PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with Visio, Tableau/Power BI, SQL, SPSS is a plus. Strong project management and organizational skills. Working knowledge of healthcare finance, operations, valuation, and related regulations. Ability to exercise sound judgment and escalate issues appropriately; ability to coach junior staff. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to all client levels. Willingness and ability to travel as required. BA/BS and/or MBA/MS in Accounting, Finance, or healthcare fields (e.g., MHA, MPH). Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA, or progress toward such certifications. End of qualifications.
