Position Summary: The Manager, Brand Communications will lead multi-channel digital marketing efforts, manage agency partnerships, and execute performance-driven strategies to elevate brand awareness and engagement. Note: The role requires collaboration across time zones, including the HQ in Seoul and partners on the East and West Coasts. Occasional travel for brand activations, events, and cross-functional meetings may be involved. Bilingual English/Korean is not required but is a plus. Responsibilities
Brand Activations & Events: Lead the development and execution of high-impact brand activations, cultural partnerships, and pop-up experiences that resonate with Gen Z and multicultural audiences. Oversee end-to-end event strategy, including vendor negotiation, budget allocation, and cross-functional alignment. Maximize brand equity by amplifying events through integrated paid/owned/earned media; present post-event analyses with clear business implications. Digital Marketing & Paid Media: Own the strategy and execution of full-funnel media campaigns across digital, social, retail, and experiential channels to drive awareness, conversion, and loyalty. Guide and align agencies and HQ (Seoul) to ensure synergy between global and U.S. media strategies. Shape retail media investments (Walmart Connect, Amazon Ads, TikTok Ads, Instacart) in partnership with the eCommerce team to optimize omnichannel performance. Oversee media activations for high-profile cultural events (Coachella, ComplexCon) and manage strategic brand collaborations. Ensure brand voice consistency across all creative assets and partner platforms. Translate insights into actionable strategies to refine targeting, maximize ROI, and scale successful campaigns. PR & Media Outreach: Drive media relations, influencer partnerships, and thought-leadership initiatives to strengthen brand authority. Secure high-value earned placements that extend paid campaigns and deliver measurable impact. Evaluate and optimize PR performance with a focus on long-term brand visibility and reputation. Qualifications
Minimum 13 years in brand marketing, digital media, or integrated campaign management, with proven success driving measurable business impact preferred Minimum 3–5 years leading teams and managing cross-functional projects. Experience planning, executing, and optimizing digital paid advertising campaigns across social, search, and retail platforms preferred Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (Master’s preferred) Proficiency in retail media platforms (Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Instacart), digital ad platforms (Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads Manager), analytics tools (Google Analytics, social listening platforms), and project management software Experience in CPG, food & beverage, or lifestyle brands; strong understanding of Gen Z and multicultural consumer segments; track record in high-profile cultural activations (e.g., Coachella, ComplexCon) Who You Are
