Position Summary
The Sr. Production Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and success of REV’s Arlington manufacturing facility. This role provides direct oversight of production and operations while ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are consistently achieved. The Sr. Production Manager will act as the senior leader on site, accountable not only for manufacturing execution but also for driving operational and financial performance, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives while delivering exceptional customer outcomes. The Sr. Production Manager will drive the assembly and delivery of custom electrical switchgear and related services, build organizational capability, and represent the company’s values and vision in the U.S. market. This role reports directly to the Director of Operations and is a key member of the leadership team. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
Provide direction and oversight for all U.S. operations, with full P&L accountability. Develop and execute long-term growth strategies in line with corporate objectives and market opportunities. Act as the senior company representative in the U.S., building credibility with customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies. Operations Management
Oversee plant operations, ensuring consistent performance against safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics. Lead operational excellence initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and standardization across sites. Ensure compliance with all OSHA, NETA, and industry standards. People & Culture
Build and develop a strong leadership team; coach and mentor managers and supervisors. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Ensure workforce capability to meet current and future business demands. Customer & Market Engagement
Strengthen relationships with key customers and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with their technical and service expectations. Support business development activities and represent the company in U.S. industry forums. Collaboration & Integration
Partner with Canadian head office functions (Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, HR) to ensure smooth cross-border collaboration. Provide insight and feedback on market trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape in the U.S. Qualifications
10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing or industrial operations, with at least 5 years in a Production Manager / Operations Manager or equivalent role. Strong background in electrical equipment manufacturing; experience in switchgear, power systems, or related industries is highly preferred. Proven ability to lead multi-site operations and deliver results across complex organizations. Demonstrated success in P&L management, strategic planning, and operational excellence. Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, safety systems, and quality assurance programs. Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills. NETA certification or experience with NETA standards is an asset. Experience operating, servicing, or building electrical equipment is a strong asset. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or Business required. MBA or advanced degree considered an asset. Occasional travel to Canadian site required. What We Offer
