Responsibilities
Planning and Consultation - Review district and school information, policies, resources on evidence-based instructional practices, and building-specific School Support Plans (SSPs) to inform coaching strategies. Development and Coaching - Provide a combination of face-to-face and online coaching sessions to school principals and leadership teams to reinforce strategies and address barriers related to IEP development, IEP implementation, progress monitoring of students with disabilities, and staff allocation usage. Implementation - Participate in school-based instructional walkthroughs and attend monthly online Grant Implementation Team (GIT) meetings; provide guidance and baseline data on IEP development, implementation fidelity, and student progress monitoring. Project Management - Consult weekly with CTE project team members to ensure consistency and effective implementation across grant deliverables during the school year. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree Two years of experience Equivalencies may substitute for required education/experience as allowed by the Johns Hopkins University equivalency formula Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Education or related field Progressive experience in school building administration and special education leadership Graduate degree or certificate in school leadership Special education teaching certification Additional Details
