IAT II: Please see Commercial Certificates for DoD 8570.01-M certificate requirement, CE: Associate (professional preferred) level certificate for supported technology as approved by the COR. Experience in this Discipline:
Four (4) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency. Minimum Education:
Bachelors' degree and/or Functional Responsibility:
Deploy, sustain and troubleshoot new or existing server operating systems and related infrastructure software and hardware. Administers day-to-day sustainment, integrity, security and availability of infrastructure platforms. Perform daily system backups, performance monitoring, capacity analysis, and maintain security posture of infrastructure systems. Creates standard operating procedures, maintenance guides, and knowledge base articles to ensure proper documentation is established for the operational upkeep of the infrastructure platforms. Level II performs more varied and difficult tasks compared to Level I OTHER SILLS, TASKS AND RESPONSIBLITIES THE CONTRACT EMPLOYEE SHALL PERFORM BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Create and manage user accounts, access, and privileges. Develop and maintain SOPs, guidelines, and quick-reference materials for supported systems. Provide IT guidance and brief leaders/staff on issues and recommended solutions.
