Principal Service Engineer, End User Complete Are you passionate about designing, operating, and improving large-scale endpoint management services? Join our team as a Principal Service Engineer, where you’ll lead the technical strategy and delivery of solutions using Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM), Intune, Jamf, Nexthink, and more. You’ll partner with engineering, operations, development, and program management peers to deliver resilient, high-quality services that support Providence caregivers and business users. This section consolidates the role’s focus on design, operation, and improvement of end-user management services, partnership with cross-functional teams, and contribution to service resilience and quality of service expectations. The position emphasizes technical leadership, backlog participation, and data-driven decision making to support live services. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a combination of equivalent education and experience 8 or more years of related experience Strong experience in automation related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes Strong experience with n-tier solutions Strong experience with resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and ability to simulate outages for point solutions and platforms (automated and manual) Strong experience translating customer and technical requirements into service architecture to meet Quality of Service Expectations Strong experience leading and representing the Service in backlog discussions and standups to prioritize Live Site requirements Strong experience leveraging data and metrics to drive behavior, process, and priority decisions using logic to identify strengths and weaknesses of solutions Strong experience in advanced problem solving using systematic procedures and root cause analysis Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a combination of equivalent education and experience 8 or more years of end point management experience Deep hands-on expertise with administration and troubleshooting of MCM and Intune including hierarchy management, application packaging and deployment, operating system deployment, patching, and co-management features Scripting experience using PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate tasks and API usage for Intune or similar SaaS platforms Advanced troubleshooting skills for Windows and macOS, including Windows Performance Toolkit and Sysinternals Familiarity with Nexthink or other digital experience platforms Experience in a healthcare environment Salary Range by Location
