Principal Service Engineer, End User Complete — Virtual

Join our team as a Principal Service Engineer, where you’ll lead the technical strategy and delivery of solutions using Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM), Intune, Jamf, Nexthink, and more. You’ll partner with engineering, operations, development, and program management peers to deliver resilient, high-quality services that support Providence caregivers and business users.

Responsibilities
Lead technical strategy and delivery of end-user device management services using MCM, Intune, Jamf, Nexthink, and related tools.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, development, and program management to design, implement, and operate resilient services.
Represent the Service in backlog discussions and standups to establish appropriate prioritization of Live Site requirements.
Use data and metrics to drive behavior, process, and priority decisions; apply root cause analysis to problems.
Influence engineering teams to translate customer and technical requirements into service architecture that meets QoS expectations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent education/experience
8+ years of related experience
Strong automation experience related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes
Strong experience with multi-tier (n-tier) solutions
Experience with resilience modeling and simulating outages for point solutions and platforms
Experience shaping service architecture to meet QoS expectations
Experience leading backlog discussions and prioritization of Live Site requirements
Experience using data/metrics to drive decisions
Strong problem-solving skills and root cause analysis
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent
8+ years of endpoint management experience
Hands-on expertise with MCM and Intune administration, including hierarchy management, packaging and deployment, operating system deployment (task sequences and Autopilot), patching, and co-management features
Scripting experience using PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate frequent tasks and API usage for Intune or similar SaaS platforms
Advanced troubleshooting skills for Windows and macOS, including Windows Performance Toolkit and Sysinternals
Familiarity with Nexthink or other Digital Experience platforms
Experience in a Healthcare environment
