Commercial Leasing Attorney

with deep expertise in complex commercial leasing and real estate transactions. Ideal candidates will have strong legal acumen, business insight, and client service skills. Responsibilities

Lead leasing transactions across office, retail, industrial, and ground leases Draft, review, and negotiate various lease types (gross, NNN, percentage, ground) Manage purchase/sale transactions, including contracts, due diligence, title, and closings Analyze lease terms (rent escalations, CAM, use clauses, defaults, etc.) Draft LOIs, amendments, subleases, assignments, and terminations Advise on lease administration, enforcement, and default remedies Conduct due diligence (lease abstracts, estoppels, SNDAs) Research real estate law, zoning, and compliance (NY focus) Align legal advice with business goals and market trends Collaborate with lenders and cross-functional legal teams Support leasehold financing and lender requirements Qualifications

J.D. and NY Bar admission 3–7 years’ experience in commercial leasing/real estate law Strong lease drafting and negotiation skills Familiarity with financing, title, and survey review Excellent communication, organization, and client service Knowledge of zoning, ADA, and leasehold improvements Total Compensation: $150,000–$250,000, including base salary and applicable incentives.
