GHD has an excellent opportunity for a
Staff Water Resource Engineer
in any of our offices in CA (San Diego, Irvine, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Sacramento, Concord, Roseville, Santa Rosa). As a Water resources engineer, you will focus on areas including water resources, hydrology and hydraulics, storm water and flood management, engineering research, GIS analyses, design plans, specification writing and construction cost estimating. Our hybrid work model combines in-office collaboration and flexibility. Join us in office three days a week to contribute, connect and excel in our vibrant environment. Contract Management: Deliver required outcomes by coordinating activities of subcontractors and suppliers and acting as a primary point of contact for them while working within an established contract management plan. Improvement/Innovation: Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems, and procedures, and use established change management programs to address them. Engineering Standards Specification: Support the drafting of engineering standards and specifications and evaluate their effectiveness under guidance. Knowledge Management System: Help others maximize use of knowledge management systems by offering support and advice. Client & Customer Management (External): Assist in managing client and customer relationships using relevant sales or client systems. Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats; involves working independently. Personal Capability Building: Develop capabilities through assessment, development planning, and training; maintain external professional accreditation where relevant. Technical Developments Recommendation: Research and suggest technical developments to improve website/portal/software and supporting infrastructure to meet users needs. Product and Solution Development: Define and deliver products and services that meet customer needs within established systems. Research: Conduct research activities to support others or fulfill role requirements. Technical Troubleshooting: Support troubleshooting efforts to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues with equipment and experiments. Education
Bachelors Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering Experience
Minimum 3 years experience in Engineering, Water Resources EOE and Salary
