As a Water resources engineer, you will focus on water resources, hydrology and hydraulics, storm water and flood management, engineering research, GIS analyses, design plans, specification writing and construction cost estimating. As floods, droughts and storms become more frequent and intense, the water industry must build resiliency and lead from the front. Contract Management: Deliver required outcomes by coordinating activities of subcontractors and suppliers and acting as a primary point of contact within an established contract management plan. Improvement/Innovation: Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems, and procedures, and use established change management programs to address them. Engineering Standards Specification: Support the drafting of engineering standards and specifications and evaluate their effectiveness under guidance from more senior colleagues. Knowledge Management System: Help others maximize use of knowledge management systems by offering support and advice. Client & Customer Management (External): Assist senior colleagues in managing client relationships using relevant sales or client systems. Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats, often working independently. Personal Capability Building: Develop capabilities through assessment, development planning, training and coaching; maintain external professional accreditation where relevant; stay informed on technology, regulation, and best practices through ongoing education. Technical Developments Recommendation: Research and propose technical developments to improve products and services to better meet user needs. Product and Solution Development: Define and deliver products and services that meet customer needs within established systems. Research: Conduct research activities to support others or fulfill role requirements. Technical Troubleshooting: Support troubleshooting efforts to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues with equipment and experiments. Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering Experience

Minimum 3 years experience in Engineering, Water Resources EEO and Salary
