We are assisting our downtown client in their search for Chief Financial Officer Consultant that will outsource their expertise to some of the best companies in the Indy area. You will work with clients to set financial policy and is an active participant in, and driver of, the overall strategy. Partners with client’s leadership on operational and strategic issues as they arise, providing recommendations based on financial analysis of projections, cost identification and allocation, and revenue/expense analysis Oversees longer-term budget planning and cost management. Monitors progress of budgets and presents operational metrics and KPI’s Accountable for identifying and implementing best practices related to the service(s) provided to add value to the client. Develops full knowledge of GAAP and deep understanding of financial and operational aspects of their specific industry Ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple client engagements. Builds strong client relationships and becomes a key member of client management team Maintains knowledge of client’s organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives, and current accounting standards Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA license preferred Public accounting experience required At least 8+ years relevant accounting and/or financial experience People management experience with the ability to guide, train, coach, motivate and direct a team to achieve desired end results General knowledge of accounting software If you are a qualified candidate and interested in confidentially exploring this career opportunity, please contact Angie Moller at angie.moller@lhh.com.
