CGI has an exciting opportunity for a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Business Development Executive. You will work on a mission-focused team delivering solutions and services across cybersecurity, border protection, citizen services, and IT systems modernization within the DHS. This position is located in Fairfax, VA or Arlington, VA with work performed at client sites and industry events in Northern VA and Washington, DC.
Responsibilities
Lead the identification, qualification, and capture of strategic opportunities within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), focusing on CBP, ICE, TSA, and FEMA, and align efforts with CGI's capabilities and strategic priorities.
Develop and execute capture strategies that position CGI for sustainable, profitable growth by leveraging global qualifications and aligning with DHS mission needs.
Cultivate and expand a network of DHS and partner stakeholders to strengthen CGI's presence and deliver proactive, tailored solutions.
Define and direct strategic objectives across DHS components, ensuring alignment with CGI's growth strategy and bringing forward innovative, technology-enabled solutions, including Artificial Intelligence.
Support potential growth of a P&L through successful capture efforts and assume delivery oversight in key expansion areas.
Contribute to a collaborative team culture that values partner health, well-being, and work-life balance.
Required Qualifications
Due to government contract requirements and/or security clearance, US citizenship is required. Ability to obtain Secret/Top Secret clearance.
Extensive knowledge of key DHS programs, executives, and future vision across one or more DHS components of interest.
10+ years of successful capture within the US Federal government, with strong preference for DHS experience.
Experience leading shaping, capture, and award of multiple significant wins ($50M+) in the US Federal IT Services market.
Outstanding executive presence and presentation skills.
Local to the greater DC metro area with ability to commute to Ballston or Fairfax, VA offices and attend client meetings and industry events in DC/NoVA.
Desired Qualifications
Experience in business development, capture, and delivery of classified programs that include SCIF requirements.
Subject matter expertise in domains relevant to CGI interests at DHS, including cybersecurity, law enforcement, immigration, or border protection.
Compensation CGI typically provides a reasonable compensation range based on merit. A current estimate for this role in the U.S. is $111,600.00 - $241,600.00.
