Strategy and Operations Principal Lead, Android, GTM, Partnerships Responsibilities

Lead Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy, planning, and program management for the global Android OEM team within Platforms and Devices (P&D) Partnerships. Coordinate closely with our Android and Commercial Partnerships teams to ensure execution of GTM campaigns contribute to Android growth and engagement. Run initiatives supporting key business objectives including key partner engagements, monthly business tracking, budget and investment management with Android Business Development (BD) and Partner Acceleration (PA) leadership. Serve as a thought leader and strategic partner to P&D team to inform critical decisions, risks, and opportunities. Minimum qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in Go-to-Market Strategy, Business Strategy, Management Consulting, or Program Management, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree. Experience working with executive level stakeholders. Experience in the hardware, OEM, mobile devices, telecom, consumer electronics, or other relevant technology industries. Preferred qualifications

MBA, JD or equivalent advanced degree. Experience with structuring strategy for business organizations including experience in either management consulting or within internal strategy teams. Experience with key products/businesses including mobile devices, OEMs, Telcos, and AI. Understanding of the partner and market landscape for Platforms and Devices (P&D) products. About The Job

The Business Strategy and Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives. The Platforms and Devices (P&D) Partnerships Strategy and Operations team creates and drives cohesive business strategy across the suite of P&D products: Android, Play, ChromeOS, Photos, Privacy Sandbox and more. We understand the partner ecosystem and markets in which these products operate, and apply structured analysis and reasoning to help develop and execute strategy. We also drive thought leadership across our products and markets to inform strategic decisions across the P&D and broader Global Partnerships (GP) leadership teams. We also partner closely across key stakeholders in Business Development (BD) and Product Engineering (ProdEng), Marketing, Finance, and the broader Global Partnerships (GP), and Partnership Solutions and Go-To-Market (PSGTM) organizations to drive scaled impact for our business and product partners. In this role, you will drive our business strategy on scaled and emerging products within P&D at Google. You will have the opportunity to work at the forefront of product and business innovation across the Android ecosystem working across many parts of the company. You will also have the opportunity to partner with and learn from incredible, experienced BD leaders. Finally, you will have the chance to work with an amazing, Strategy and Operations (S&O) team within the P&D Partnerships Strategy organization. The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000-$267,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
