Overview

The Sales & Service Lead is integral to elevating the guest experience at Alo Yoga. They will ensure we deliver our targets for engagement, guest education and interaction, create a service-led environment on the sales floor, and ultimately create a sanctuary that sets Alo apart from other retailers. Responsibilities Lead an exceptional guest experience on the floor through assessing guest connection and providing technical product education; support team members with feedback and coaching to address gaps.

Continuously build client relationships with customers on a daily basis.

Analyze reports to strategize and deliver results; support action plans focusing on deficient areas and highlight growth opportunities.

Ensure effective sales floor coverage through workforce planning and by leading selling initiatives as needed.

Business & People Leadership Partner with Operations & Visual Manager to manage reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities to ensure maintenance and maximized performance.

Demonstrate strong business acumen by leveraging metrics to support business-driving strategies.

Move dynamically on the retail floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team and guests.

Lead by example and inspire staff in daily operations and guest experience.

Directly oversee the Sales & Service Associates and Cashiers; responsible for recruitment and development of talent.

Use company performance tools to evaluate each operations associate and provide constant feedback to drive growth, in partnership with the store leader.

Business Partnership Collaborate with Community & Studio, Operations and Visual Leads to ensure cross-functional training and well-executed business operations.

Execute company-level operations directives, projects and initiatives, in partnership with the Sales & Service Manager (e.g. from the SCC).

Qualifications 2+ years of prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment.

Proven leadership capabilities with strong decision-making skills.

Values feedback; receptive to receiving feedback and eager to provide feedback to others.

High energy, upbeat and enthusiastic with the ability to integrate fun with work.

Self-motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel individually and as a team.

Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Aligns with Alo’s guiding principles.

Job Level: Associate.

The Sales & Service Lead is full-time and requires 32-40 hours per week. To build a balanced schedule that supports the needs of the business and our teams, all full-time employees are expected to have open availability and work variable shifts including peak days and weekends. All employees must be able to work during the company’s Blackout period, from the week of American Thanksgiving through the end of the holiday season. The Company’s lead base pay ranges from $22.00–$26.00/hour in Burlingame, CA. Leads are eligible to participate in the Company’s Monthly Store Incentive bonus program. The listed range is one component of the total rewards package, which may include: clothing allowance, employee discount, 401K, medical/dental/vision plans, commuter benefits, Talkspace, and AloMoves.
