Project Engineer (ACMV/M&E Projects)

Role Purpose
Support the Project Manager in planning, coordination, and documentation to deliver ACMV/M&E projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards. Key Responsibilities
Planning & Scheduling:
Assist in look-ahead programmes, method statements, manpower/equipment plans; track daily/weekly progress. Technical Coordination:
Coordinate with Main Con, consultants, and trades for
MEP/ACMV
interfaces; manage RFIs, site queries, and design clarifications. Submittals & Drawings:
Prepare/track material & shop drawing submissions, sample approvals, MS/RA/ITP; maintain revision control and transmittals. Procurement Support:
Raise PRs, follow up on PO/deliveries; maintain material trackers; coordinate logistics and site storage. Site Execution:
Arrange access, permits, PTW, WSH compliance; coordinate subcontractors; attend site walks, inspections, and T&C activities. QA/QC & Handover:
Manage ITPs, inspections, punch lists/NCR closures; compile
as-built drawings
and
O&M manuals ; support T&C and handover. Cost & Change:
Support measurement, variation order (VO) substantiation, and progress claim documentation. Reporting:
Prepare meeting minutes, site diaries, photo logs, weekly/monthly reports. Requirements
Diploma/Nitec in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services or Construction Management (or equivalent). 1–3 years in M&E/ACMV project coordination (fresh grads with internship experience may be considered). Able to read construction/MEP drawings, specs, and codes; basic AutoCAD/Bluebeam; BIM 360 familiarity is a plus. Strong organisation and follow-through; comfortable with trackers (Excel), action logs, and document control. Knowledge of WSH/PTW and site practices; proactive problem-solver and communicator.
