SENIOR TRIAL COURT STAFF ATTORNEY - 22012377 Date: Sep 22, 2025 Agency: State Courts System Location: TBD - Remote Eligible (travel to other locations within the Judicial Circuit; onsite training available) Salary: $76,040.16 annually ($64,999.44 if less than 5 years experience). Responsibilities
Assist the judiciary with case management, pending litigation, processing of criminal and civil appeals, and a variety of issues. Exercise considerable interpretation and judgment of legal issues in areas of criminal, civil, appellate, and/or administrative law. Draft memoranda, opinions, and orders; conduct legal research; review briefs and case files; and advise judges on pending litigation. Work under the supervision of the Supervising Trial Court Staff Attorney. Qualifications
Education: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school required. Additional relevant experience may substitute for the educational level on a year-for-year basis. Experience: Five years of work experience in the practice of law or as a law clerk in an appellate or trial court. Certification and Special Requirements: Membership in Good Standing in the Florida Bar within one year of hire. Valid Florida Driver’s License required. How to Apply
