Overview

The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Cardiology, is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank in the area of general and preventive cardiology. Appointees will have clinical responsibilities including outpatient clinic, reading EKGs, and inpatient ward and consultative cardiology predominantly at our main campus and, if needed, at affiliated sites. This is not a cardiac imaging position, and appointees will not be expected to perform or read cardiac imaging. Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications. Salary ranges by rank: Assistant Professor: $284,660 - $433,298 per year Associate Professor: $304,620 - $464,612 per year Professor: $304,016 - $466,429 per year Qualifications

Medical doctor or equivalent degree Hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Illinois Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology Profile
