Description
We are currently seeking experienced MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Urology. As a Urologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with disorders of the urinary tract and male reproductive system. Your expertise is vital in providing high-quality care and improving the overall health and well-being of our patients. You will be involved in a variety of urological projects, from performing surgeries to conducting diagnostic procedures.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat urological conditions such as kidney stones, urinary tract infections, and prostate issues.
Perform surgical procedures including prostatectomies, kidney stone removal, and vasectomies.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as ultrasounds, CT scans, and biopsies.
Counsel patients on treatment options, risks, and post-operative care.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
Stay current on advancements in urological treatments and technologies.
Participate in educational initiatives for patients, staff, and the community.
Requirements
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Board certification in Urology.
Valid state medical license to practice as a Urologist.
Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating urological conditions.
Excellent surgical skills and proficiency in urological procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 4-5 days per week
Call Requirement: 3-4 weeks per year
Setting: Outpatient
EMR: Cerner, Epic
Must be board-certified
