Job Title: Data Analyst Division: Divison of Academic Affairs Department Dean Community Health & Policy Work Status: Full Time Position Category: Staff FLSA: Exempt Pay Range: Exempt Salary Range $60,000 - $70,000 / per year Fund Source: State Support Responsibilities
Collects, analyzes, interprets, and summarizes data in preparation for generation of statistical and analytical reports. Designs and/or develops specific databases for collection, tracking, and reporting of research data, as appropriate to the position. Utilizes specified statistical software to analyze and interpret research data, as appropriate to the individual position. Maintains computerized collection and tracking of relevant data. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics or a related field from an accredited college or university is required. Experience: 0-2 years of experience is requested. Skills and Abilities
Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to prepare research reports and proposals. Ability to design and implement systems necessary to collect, maintain, and analyze data. Ability to utilize statistical computer software. Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications. Knowledge of research methodology, principles and procedures. Skill in the use of GIS Software and multi-level data analysis.
