The organization operates a nationwide footprint with a direct-to-customer service model and a strong emphasis on operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and innovation. Position Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for leading all financial and technology operations. This role will provide strategic direction, financial stewardship, and operational leadership to support the company’s continued growth and profitability. The CFO will oversee a team of approximately 20 professionals across Finance, Accounting, and Information Technology. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategies that support long-term business objectives. Advise the CEO and executive team on financial planning, capital structure, and risk mitigation. Lead financial modeling, scenario planning, and strategic investment analysis. Financial Operations & Controls: Oversee all accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP. Strengthen internal controls and audit readiness across all financial processes. Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury operations to support business agility. Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting cycles. Monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights to leadership. Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to track financial and operational metrics. Lead and mentor a team of 20 professionals across Finance and IT. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Implement talent development strategies and succession planning. Oversee IT infrastructure and systems to ensure alignment with business needs. Drive digital transformation initiatives, including ERP optimization and data analytics. Ensure cybersecurity and data governance policies are robust and effective. Compliance & External Relations: Manage relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations. Support legal and contractual reviews from a financial perspective. Growth & Strategic Initiatives: Evaluate and support M&A opportunities, strategic partnerships, and expansion initiatives. Provide financial leadership for new service offerings, operational scaling, and market development. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA strongly preferred). Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including CFO or VP of Finance roles. Experience in distribution, industrial products, or manufacturing sectors preferred. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex financial operations. Strong understanding of ERP systems, financial modeling, and business intelligence tools.
