Overview You were born to be the boss. Domino’s Pizza is hiring General Managers who will lead the store, set the example, and ensure the crew and operations run smoothly. The role requires judgment, math, multitasking, and the ability to manage people and processes across the store during shifts.
Responsibilities
Be responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
Lead by example and ensure adherence to all policies and procedures 100% of the time; expect the same from your crew.
Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash handling, food management, scheduling, maintaining a perfect image and standards adherence, delivering great customer service, attendance and punctuality, transportation to/from work, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.
Advancement potential from delivery driver to management and franchise ownership paths.
Qualifications General
– General job duties for all store team members; ability to operate all equipment; stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler; prepare product; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete associated paperwork; clean equipment and facility daily.
Training
– Orientation and on-the-job training provided.
Communication Skills
– Ability to comprehend and convey correct written instructions; ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders in person or over the phone.
Essential Functions/Skills
– Ability to perform basic arithmetic; make correct monetary change; verbal and written communication; eye-hand coordination; ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Work Conditions & Physical Demands
Work Conditions:
Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks; in-store temperatures from 36°F to 90°F+; exposure to fumes, cornmeal dust, and hot surfaces up to 500+°F; cramped quarters including walk-in cooler; sharp edges and moving parts.
Sensing:
Talking and hearing on the telephone; near/mid-range vision; depth perception; differentiate hot/cold surfaces.
Temperaments:
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently or with others, handle stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make decisions.
Physical Requirements:
Standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds; carrying, pushing/pulling, reaching, climbing stairs, bending and kneeling as needed; frequent hand and arm use; ability to operate equipment such as pizza cutter, peels, and computers.
Driving Specific Duties
Deliver product by car to customers; deliver flyers and door hangers.
Requires valid driver's license with safe driving record and access to insured vehicle.
Essential driving skills include navigation of delivery routes and multi-story deliveries.
