The Colorado Supreme Court’s Office of Attorney Registration and Continuing Legal and Judicial Education seeks applications for the position of Deputy Director. Responsibilities
Serve as the second-in-command of the Office of Attorney Registration and Continuing Legal and Judicial Education (CLE) in the regulation of attorneys and Licensed Legal Paraprofessionals (LLPs) admitted to practice law in Colorado. Be an integral part of the leadership and administration of the Office, gaining a comprehensive understanding of annual registration and CLE compliance for attorneys and LLPs, as well as the accreditation of CLE activities. Develop the management, interpersonal, and technical skills necessary to oversee the work of the team; become competent in essential functions within 12 months of starting. Develop a strong understanding of database functionality; manage multiple priorities and high levels of financial transactions; demonstrate analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required. A master’s degree, Juris Doctorate, or specialized paralegal or compliance certifications are strongly preferred and considered a significant advantage. Fifteen years of professional, administrative, supervisory, or management experience required. Strong administrative background, preferably in a regulatory field. Minimum of three years of demonstrated executive-level leadership preferred. Excellent organizational skills with accuracy and attention to detail. Effective written and oral communication skills with experience in public speaking. Demonstrated and verifiable reputation for integrity.
