Accounts Payable Manager

Job Summary
The Accounts Payable Manager will oversee the full accounts payable process, ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices, manage vendor relationships, and lead a team of AP professionals. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized with an entrepreneurial mindset and a track record of process improvements.
Core Responsibilities
Manage the full cycle of accounts payable, including invoice processing, payment disbursement, and reconciliation. Supervise and mentor the AP team, providing guidance and development opportunities. Develop and implement AP policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy. Maintain strong relationships with vendors and resolve payment discrepancies or issues. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Prepare and analyze AP reports, providing insights to senior management. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve financial operations. Monitor and manage AP aging reports to ensure timely payments and minimize overdue invoices. Lead AP-related projects and initiatives to enhance department performance.
Required Experience, Education & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 5 years in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AP processes. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work independently in a highly organized manner.

Compensation
Pay range: $115,000–$125,000 USD (note: final offer determined by factors including location, skills, and experience).
