Product Line Manager - Communications

Job Summary The Communications Product Manager will lead and oversee the development, implementation, and management of Voyager’s RF Communications products. This role is responsible for guiding products through their current lifecycle, managing continual market release and support services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the space industry, RF Communication systems, a clear understanding of current product management practices, and a demonstrated track record of successful product improvement and strategy implementation. The Communications PLM will report to Voyager’s EVP of Products and Engineering Organization. Responsibilities

Product Strategy and Development Develop and implement the company's product strategy to support business goals. Lead and inspire the product management team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Oversee the development and execution of product projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Create and oversee product management & lifecycle plans for company products. Market Analysis and Research Collaborate with executive leadership to define and prioritize product initiatives. Monitor and analyze market and industry trends to ensure the company remains competitive. Identify and evaluate product modification opportunities and their potential impact on the company/industry. Innovation and Improvement Identifies and assesses opportunities for innovation based on product knowledge. Determine configuration changes to be made for all products in scope Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the product management team. Collaboration and Communication Work closely with other departments to ensure product performance and initiatives align with business objectives. Communicate product strategy and progress to stakeholders, including the board of directors and investors. Foster strong relationships with customers, partners, and other external stakeholders. Ensures effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention of multiple teams. Prior experience with RF Communications, Software Defined Radios, Multi Frequency Comms required Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in engineering, systems engineering, or science required. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in product management roles, with at least 5 years in the Space industry. Proven track record of leading successful product initiatives and projects. Deep understanding of the Space market, including industry trends and regulatory requirements. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in advanced product management and software development methodologies. Experience with market analysis and competitive analysis. Technical Understanding

Strong grasp of RF Communications, Software Defined Radio architecture, FPGA algorithms, system integration and test. Product Roadmap Development

Develop and execute a comprehensive product roadmap, prioritizing features and functionalities based on customer needs and market trends, driving consistent product innovation. Customer Feedback Integration

Actively gather customer feedback through surveys, focus groups, and support channels, incorporating critical insights into product iterations to enhance user experience and customer satisfaction. Technical Expertise

Provide technical guidance on RF Communication Hardware design, Software defined radios, algorithm optimization. Product Management, Market Research, Product Development, Cross-functional Collaboration, Data Analysis, RF Communications, and Project Management. Salary Range:
