Opportunity Overview
Collaborating with a medical center in southwestern New Hampshire that has an opportunity for a Gastroenterologist to provide locum inpatient coverage. Schedule: 24/7 call coverage, Friday 7:30a to following Friday 7:30a Beeper call, 1:4 3 endoscopy suites and 4 GI exam rooms Patient Volume: 11-14 cases per day, 0-8 IP patients per day, 1-3 IP consults per day Procedure Volume: 100-130 endoscopies per month Patient Ages: Adult only Cases: 80% endoscopies EMR: Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses During your time off, explore a charming downtown with unique shops and cafes, hike trails leading to scenic mountain views, or stroll through local farmers\' markets. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) National Institutes of Health (NIH) Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Active unencumbered Gastroenterologist New Hampshire state license Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program One year of work experience as a Gastroenterologist One year of EMR experience Board Certified SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks. Requirements
