Vice President Strategic Insights & Performance Analytics. At our Company, we grow People, Brands, and Businesses! We seek a highly dynamic VP Strategic Insights & Performance Analytics to lead the Enterprise Analytics & Insights team. The role focuses on activating data and analytics into the market and translating complex data into clear business strategies for clients, customers, and internal stakeholders. You will partner with Advantage executives and commercial leadership across segments to align data-driven insights with key business goals and ensure offerings deliver maximum value. This role will own and guide performance analytics & insights to drive performance tracking and insight generation for the commercial organization across segments, including performance reporting, business development insights, omnichannel engagement activities, and executive analytics. It also guides market research and shopper insights efforts as part of our thought leadership strategy. Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of business and market performance analytic strategies aligned with client and corporate objectives. Drive agile delivery of insights to respond to market shifts, innovate to lead, and meet evolving client priorities while optimizing the effectiveness of insights programs to maximize client ROI and long-term impact. Serve as a thought partner to ADV and clients’ senior leadership, providing insights that influence tactical execution and strategic direction. Shape business-critical strategies and lead strategic projects that advance global analytics & insights goals. Oversee the design and execution of shopper research programs, translating insights into actionable recommendations for marketing, merchandising, and commercial teams. Lead analysis of brand performance to identify growth opportunities for existing and new clients. Partner with commercial leadership to ensure insights strategy delivers against segment objectives and develop insightful content, industry trends, and research to enhance ADV's thought leadership. Lead and grow a team of insights leads to deliver forward-looking strategic sales and business storytelling aligned with business objectives and customer needs. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related fields; MBA/MS or equivalent experience preferred 10+ years in CPG, retailer, or grocery brokerage environments 5-10 years of successfully managing client expectations either personally or through a team 10+ years managing direct reports; experience reporting to VP or C-level executives Strategic analytical acumen with understanding of syndicated data and retail systems Proven success in leveraging data at scale to drive business performance and customer engagement Deep understanding of retail, CPG, or consumer behavior analytics Expertise in data visualization, predictive modeling, and ROI frameworks Exceptional communicator with executive presence and strong relationship-building skills Benefits
