Brand Strategy & Positioning: Define and evolve Milan's brand positioning, activate differentiators, reinforce leadership in the category, and ensure Milan is the clear laser hair removal brand of choice. Lead development of culturally relevant campaigns, create umbrella platforms across the customer journey, and tailor for different audiences and stages while maintaining thematic consistency and cultural resonance. Activate customer research and insights to inform positioning, messaging, and creative development; lead audience segmentation and persona development; translate insights into tailored activations. Partner with cross-functional teams, especially Growth/Performance Marketing, to embed brand storytelling in media and align with acquisition, client experience, and business goals. Creative & Content: Translate brand positioning into creative activations across touchpoints. Oversee a high-performing creative team delivering assets across digital, social, video, web, etc. Elevate creative excellence, encourage testing of new ideas, and build a culture of creativity and accountability. Stay updated on cultural and creative trends; leverage new tools including AI to scale production while maintaining quality. Develop content frameworks that bring Milan's brand to life with clarity and impact. Social & Influencer Marketing: Own organic social strategy; build and scale a measurable influencer program with clear objectives and performance metrics. Define influencer ROI frameworks, measure engagement, lead volume, CAC efficiency, and long-term brand equity. Integrate influencers with the broader media mix and test campaigns against paid channels. Ensure community management and brand-consistent engagement; stay on top of platforms and creator trends. Creative Testing & Insights: Build a structured testing program to evaluate messaging and formats across channels. Use performance data and cultural signals to scale the most impactful creative; establish a feedback loop with clients and translate learnings into decisions. PR & Brand Experience: Own PR strategy to drive earned media and event visibility; ensure brand experience is consistent across in-practice, digital, and social touchpoints. Collaborate with HR and TA to amplify employer branding. Leadership & Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing brand organization; recruit top talent across brand, creative, social, and influencer roles. Foster a culture of curiosity, innovation, and operational excellence with clear accountability. Partner across functions to align strategies and outcomes. Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as needed to support departmental and organizational objectives. Qualifications
High school education or equivalent (e.g., GED) required Bachelor's degree OR equivalent combination of education/experience Minimum of eight years of experience in brand, creative, or integrated marketing with at least two years in an executive leadership capacity Proven success developing and executing brand positioning strategies that build long-term equity and growth Deep expertise in creative leadership and delivering culturally relevant, high-impact campaigns Strong track record in social and influencer marketing with experience building scalable, measurable influencer programs Experience aligning brand with customer experience across physical and digital touchpoints Fluency in leveraging trends, cultural insights, and customer research to inform creative strategy and testing Comfort using AI and modern content production tools to scale efficiency while maintaining quality Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams and develop careers Experience partnering cross-functionally with performance marketing, operations, and people teams to amplify brand storytelling Background in beauty, aesthetics, wellness, lifestyle, or multi-location consumer services strongly preferred Benefits
