We are seeking a
Consultant
to join our Construction Advisory team, who is looking to establish a career in engineering and construction focusing on claims and dispute resolution, delay analysis, project advisory services, construction cost analysis and controls, construction planning and scheduling. As a Consultant, you will be partnered frequently with subject matter experts, giving the unique opportunity to work with a diverse set of clients and projects. We are looking for high-caliber candidates who want to further their professional development through collaboration and provide thorough and objective analysis to assess and mitigate risks on complex projects and real-world construction issues. Areas of focus include: Assisting in advising clients in the engineering and construction space Review and assess project change orders, including scope, costs, and schedules Review and analysis of project schedules, including delay analysis Loss of productivity and inefficiency analysis Calculation of damages including increased material, labor costs, or additional subcontractor costs Analysis of extended general conditions and other time-related costs Review and interpretation of drawings and specifications Assist in preparation of expert reports and presentations Qualifications
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering with disciplines such as Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, etc., or a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management Microsoft Office - Advanced skills preferred, especially in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Bluebeam, Adobe, or other PDF management software Scheduling software - Microsoft Project or Primavera Hybrid schedule: the position requires you to come into the designated office on a hybrid basis Recent graduate or 1-3 years of experience in the engineering or construction industry including internships Physical and Mental Job Qualifications Must be able to remain in a stationary position during the work shift Must be able to travel both in the United States and internationally Character Requirements Maintains Project Focus: sees things through to completion, adapts to obstacles, and completes work within designated timeframes Independently Project Leader: able to work independently in a client-facing environment and align recommendations with client and J.S.
