Technical lead for wireless, connectivity, Infotainment, and cloud systems Drive integration efforts across vehicle systems ensuring seamless communication and interoperability between hardware, software, and cloud components Lead vehicle health monitoring and data collection strategies and build dashboards for insights and analytics Support development and integration activities for digital key and vehicle access systems Define and implement strategies for optimizing the performance and efficiency of platform architectures, balancing competing requirements and constraints Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to automotive platform architecture, including safety and cybersecurity standards Collaborate closely with other engineering teams, product management, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of platform architecture initiatives with broader company objectives Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field Minimum of 10 years of experience in embedded systems architecture, with a focus on automotive or related industry Expert in connected software-defined systems Deep technical expertise in system design principles, including hardware/software integration, automotive communication protocols, and real-time operating systems Even better, you may have…
Experience of embedded Linux, Android, RTOS and related DevOps systems Excellent communication skills both up and down the organization to achieve the desired results Demonstrated examples of applying systemic thinking, logic, and reasoning skills to identify opportunities, alternative solutions, or approaches to problems Strong collaboration skills, clear and concise direction coupled with an ability to move within the organization to complete work and balance tradeoffs You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!
