Assistant General Manager: Hut's Hamburgers Restaurant // Austin Bergstrom Airport Responsibilities
Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations of the establishment Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction Supervise and train staff members in various roles, including hospitality, cooking, bartending, and food preparation Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve profitability Maintain a clean and safe working environment Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner Assist with scheduling staff shifts and managing labor costs Skills & Qualifications
Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team Excellent knowledge of restaurant operations, including food service management and hospitality management Proficiency in using Aloha POS system or similar restaurant management software Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff and customers Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-stress situations Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Handling procurement processes, such as ordering necessary supplies or merchandise Creating and managing work schedules, including schedules for team members to ensure appropriate coverage as well as process schedules Providing support to leadership with operational tasks such as budgeting or strategic planning Delegating tasks appropriately to balance team member workloads while supporting business goals Experience & Education
