Overview
The Director of Operations will lead all manufacturing activities at our Hialeah site, driving efficiency, technical excellence, and compliance in a high-volume, regulated environment. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical and process engineering expertise. Base pay range
$140,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Lead 150+ employees across two shifts, ensuring production goals and safety standards. Improve KPIs (OEE 80%+, OTIF 98%+, scrap
Implement Lean/Six Sigma, 5S, and SPC to optimize efficiency and reduce waste. Oversee equipment reliability, automation upgrades, and process validation. Ensure FDA and cGMP compliance, maintaining audit readiness. Manage budgets, production costs, and continuous cost savings. Develop technical and leadership talent across the operations team. Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Engineering, Operations, or related field; Master’s preferred. 8+ years in manufacturing leadership, with 2+ at the senior level. Strong technical background in process/industrial engineering, automation, or operations. Experience in regulated manufacturing (FDA, cGMP). Lean/Six Sigma certification strongly preferred. Proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in safety, cost, and quality. Seniority level
