The
Sr. Manager of Strategy
will drive Helen of Troy’s long-term growth and strategic plan. This role leads
enterprise-wide strategic initiatives , supports strategy planning, and advances high-priority senior-level projects, including those tied to the Board of Directors and the Global Leadership Team. The ideal candidate brings structured problem-solving, a strategic mindset, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with senior leaders across all business units. This is a
high-visibility role
requiring excellent analytical capabilities, strong communication, and the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations and support implementation. Lead enterprise-wide strategic initiatives from conception through execution, owning analysis and ensuring alignment with corporate goals and long-term vision Support enterprise strategic planning, including annual and long-range planning, scenario planning, and portfolio optimization Partner with the Global Leadership Team and other senior stakeholders on high-impact projects, including priorities for the Board of Directors Conduct in-depth market, competitive, and financial analyses to identify growth opportunities and assess business performance Develop strategic business cases, including investment proposals and M&A assessments, leveraging data-driven insights Support M&A processes and collaborate with the Business Development team Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Marketing, Operations, HR, and Business Units) to ensure alignment and successful execution of strategic initiatives Prepare executive-level presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations clearly Serve as a thought partner to business leaders on strategic challenges and opportunities Skills & Qualifications
Ability to work independently and own projects from end to end (scoping, business case, mobilization, implementation, tracking) Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to synthesize insights from multiple data sources Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience developing materials for executive-level audiences Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across functions and levels within an organization Comfortable operating in a dynamic, ambiguous environment and managing multiple priorities Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree 5+ years’ experience at a top-tier management consulting firm or similar strategic role Strong understanding of CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) Proven track record of leading complex, high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with data visualization tools (Power BI) Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis Compensation & Benefits:
In New Jersey, the standard base pay range for this role is $124,073.00 - $186,110.00 annually. This range is specific to New Jersey and may not apply to other locations. Actual salaries vary based on location, experience, skill level, and performance. Benefits include Salary + Bonus, Healthcare, Dental, Vision, Paid Holidays, Paid Parental Leave, 401(k) with company match, Basic Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Paid Time Off, Paid Charitable Leave, and Educational Assistance.
