is seeking an organized and detail-oriented self-starter to join our team as a Payroll Specialist. We are a home care company with a reputation for delivering an exceptional standard of home health care for children, adults and seniors. SUMMARY The Payroll Specialist is responsible for overseeing accurate and timely compensation for employees across multiple locations. The Payroll Specialist will manage payroll records, ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and serve as a key point of contact for payroll-related questions. The position works cross-functionally with various departments to support smooth, efficient payroll operations and deliver excellent employee service. Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end payroll operations, including weekly, bi-weekly and special payroll runs. Ensure accurate calculation of wages, bonuses, overtime, deductions and taxes. Review, verify and reconcile payroll data for accuracy and compliance. Ensure the payroll practices align with federal, state and local regulations. Serve as primary contact for payroll-related questions. Provide guidance on payroll policies and procedures. Support onboarding of new hires in payroll system. Maintain proper documentation for all payroll transactions. Support internal and external audits, reconcile quarterly and year-end payroll tax information including W-2 preparation. Prepares and maintains time-off schedules and reconciles on a recurring basis. Maintains and organizes employee files and payroll system records for timely changes to employee information. Maintains all payroll-related reports and statistical information related to the payroll function. Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance payroll operations. Addresses and maintains external requests of employment/payroll information, including but not limited to employment verifications, garnishments, and other requests for payroll records. Investigates and resolves payroll discrepancies, including discrepancies with timecards, deductions, and garnishments. Acts as company liaison and is the key stakeholder with payroll and 401(k) vendors, ensuring administration of 401(k) plan and payroll. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. Salary

Salary: $65,000.00 to $70,000.00 Qualifications

Experience with payroll processing and regulatory compliance is preferred. The role requires an organized and detail-oriented approach and the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments. Equal Opportunity
