PsiQuantum is on a mission to build the first real, useful quantum computers, capable of delivering world-changing applications. We aim to build a system with roughly 1 million qubits that supports fault tolerant error correction within a scalable architecture and a data center footprint. By harnessing the laws of quantum physics, quantum computers can provide exponential performance increases over today’s most powerful supercomputers, offering potential across industries including climate, energy, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, finance, agriculture, transportation, materials design, and more. PsiQuantum has determined the fastest path to delivering a useful quantum computer, years earlier than the rest of the industry. Our architecture is based on silicon photonics, enabling production at Tier-1 semiconductor fabs such as GlobalFoundries with high-volume manufacturing processes. Photons do not feel heat or electromagnetic interference, allowing us to leverage existing cryogenic cooling systems and industry-standard fiber connectivity. In 2024, PsiQuantum announced two government-funded projects to support the build-out of our first Quantum Data Centers and utility-scale quantum computers in Brisbane, Australia and Chicago, Illinois. Both projects are backed by nations that understand quantum computing’s potential impact and the need to scale this technology to unlock that potential. to drive full-cycle recruitment for advanced technical roles, targeting top-tier candidates (including PhDs) in quantum computing, engineering, and applied sciences. You will work with hiring managers to source, engage, and secure world-class talent, ensuring a pipeline of highly qualified individuals aligned with PsiQuantum’s mission to revolutionize quantum computing. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the growth of a pioneering company at the cutting edge of technology. Responsibilities: Strategic Talent Partnering:

Partner with senior leadership and hiring managers to develop and execute talent acquisition strategies that support growth, focusing on technical, senior, and leadership roles in quantum computing and advanced technology. High-Level Candidate Sourcing & Engagement:

Use sophisticated sourcing techniques to identify, engage, and recruit highly specialized and diverse talent pools, including passive candidates from leading tech, academic, and research institutions globally. Executive Search & Leadership Recruitment:

Lead recruitment for senior leadership roles, including strategic planning, candidate mapping, outreach, and negotiation, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience. End-to-End Talent Acquisition Leadership:

Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle from role definition to final offer acceptance, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience. Talent Strategy & Market Intelligence:

Provide thought leadership in talent acquisition, leveraging market insights and data-driven approaches to inform recruitment strategies and stay ahead of industry trends in quantum computing and tech. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

Serve as a trusted advisor to executives and department heads, fostering relationships and providing updates on hiring progress and market trends. Employer Branding & Thought Leadership:

Promote the company’s mission, vision, and culture to the talent pool and contribute to employer branding within the quantum computing and broader tech ecosystems. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):

Champion DEI throughout the recruitment process to attract and hire diverse talent. Data-Driven Decision Making:

Use recruitment metrics and analytics to measure and improve recruitment processes and ensure timely, high-quality placements. Experience/Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) are a plus. 10+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a strong track record of hiring for highly technical and senior leadership roles, ideally in tech or STEM. Proven expertise in sourcing and engaging candidates for highly specialized fields such as quantum computing, AI, ML, and related technologies. Extensive experience leading recruitment for high-level positions (VP, Director, C-suite) and complex negotiations. Ability to partner with executive teams, offering strategic counsel on talent acquisition and growth. Strong knowledge of sourcing tools, Boolean search techniques, and recruiting platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, GEM). Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders at all levels. Understanding of the quantum computing landscape and passion for the industry. Ability to thrive in hyper-growth, evolving, high-stakes environments. Direct experience recruiting within quantum computing, AI, or other highly technical industries. Experience in a global, distributed environment with international talent acquisition expertise. Fluency in additional languages is a plus. Experience driving DEI initiatives within recruitment. The ranges below reflect the target ranges for a new hire base salary. One is for the Bay Area (within 50 miles of HQ, Palo Alto), the second one (if applicable) is for elsewhere in the US. Actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, location, and business needs. Base pay is one part of total compensation and is eligible for equity and benefits. U.S. Base Pay Range: $160,000 — $200,000 USD Bay Area Pay Range: $170,000 — $200,000 USD
