Overview
The Division of Human Biology at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (Fred Hutch) is launching an Assistant or Associate Professor faculty search for a laboratory-based scientist whose work advances our understanding of human disease mechanisms that will contribute to the biological basis of solid cancers and translation to the clinic. The successful candidate will enter a dynamic research environment focused on understanding the biology of cancer, its molecular and pathogenic origins, and its consequences to health. Fred Hutch fosters collaboration and provides robust physical and intellectual infrastructure to support scientific success. Faculty are expected to perform their primary activities on-site at Fred Hutch. Qualifications
Applicants must have a doctoral degree (PhD, MD/PhD, or MD) or foreign equivalent and a substantial record of achievement in areas including, but not limited to: cell autonomous and non-cell autonomous mechanisms of cancer initiation, evolution, and/or progression; genomics/systems biology; computational cancer biology; functional genomics; post-transcriptional gene regulation; novel therapeutics; and mechanisms of drug resistance.
