Overview

This position is responsible for developing and implementing schedules (e.g., production, cleaning, etc.) to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations. Responsibilities

Streamline the kitchen processes to maintain prompt service times by training and working with the team to ensure quality and consistency are executed in the kitchen on all menu items. Create and manage the schedules for all kitchen staff to ensure that all resources are available to maintain efficient production schedules. Train and direct kitchen staff on prep work and food plating techniques, ensuring the execution of all employee duties. Manage inventory so that all necessary ingredients are stocked for service. Set regular cleaning standards for the kitchen and verify that staff maintain sanitation levels. Tracks kitchen finances to identify areas of potential waste. Monitors kitchen operations to ensure compliance with state, federal, and local food handling requirements and standards and fire department regulations. Perform all other related duties as assigned.
