Bonne Terre, Missouri Hospital Affiliation: Parkland Health Center includes a full-service acute-care hospital in Farmington, and a three-bed critical access hospital in Bonne Terre serving residents of St. Francois County and surrounding areas in southeastern Missouri. The Parkland-Farmington campus offers a full continuum of inpatient medical-surgical and intensive care, obstetrics, and emergency services, along with a wide variety of outpatient services including a wound care clinic and the Huckstep Heart and Lung Center. Role Location & Setting:

Outpatient only, Bonne Terre, Missouri; 40-hour work week; Monday through Friday schedule; Epic EMR; visa sponsorship available. Responsibilities

Manages the medical care of patient panel by providing or arranging for inpatient hospital care of the physician’s patients, either through regular hospital rounds or by coordinating with hospitalists or other qualified physicians to provide coverage in accordance with Medical Staff requirements. Collaborates with patients, families, and care team members to ensure excellent patient care outcomes at the clinic location(s) designated by BJC and any other BJC clinical outreach location as needed. Performs and documents medical histories and physicals in the patient’s medical record as required by hospital medical staff bylaws. Provides or arranges for call coverage for clinic patients and inpatient call coverage in a manner acceptable to BJC and in accordance with Medical Staff bylaws, while following all BJC policies and procedures and all applicable legal, ethical and professional standards. Collaborates and teaches advanced practice providers, support staff, or any care team member assigned to the physician’s patient panel. This is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job. Minimum Requirements
