Overview
Pharmaceutical Sales - Territory Manager - Oncology Specialty. Territory: Thousand Oaks, CA. Lilly Oncology aims to deliver medicines that improve lives for people affected by cancer, combining scientific focus with patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
Disseminate clinical information about Lilly Oncology products and services to healthcare professionals including medical oncologists, oncology nurses, office managers, reimbursement managers, and pharmacists.
Develop a strong understanding of the territory and reimbursement landscape; use business insights to analyze and adapt to evolving needs.
Navigate healthcare accounts to understand stakeholders and become a trusted partner; collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a coordinated customer experience.
Promote the full product portfolio by planning for and engaging in patient-centered dialogue with customers, leveraging appropriate selling models.
Demonstrate medical integrity by learning clinical information, disease states, and the therapeutic marketplace to engage with all members of an office or account.
Execute sales activities using analytics resources to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals, in compliance with internal policies and PhRMA code.
Collaborate with field-facing and internal peers to ensure a positive, consistent customer experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Professional certification or license required to perform this position if required by a specific state.
Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis (Lilly will not sponsor work visas).
Three or more years of sales experience (pharmaceutical or non-pharmaceutical) after completing undergrad.
Account-based selling experience and ability to navigate complex integrated health systems.
Strong learning agility, self-motivation, teamwork, emotional intelligence, and influence.
Location & Additional Information Territory: Thousand Oaks, CA. Must reside within 30 miles of territory boundary.
Compensation & Benefits Actual compensation will depend on education, experience, skills, and location. Anticipated wage range: $101,250 – $180,400. Eligible for a company bonus and comprehensive benefits including 401(k), health, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, and well-being programs. Lilly reserves the right to modify compensation and benefits at its discretion.
