Department: School of Dentistry, Dean's Office. Work involves leading the UCSF Dental Practice clinic as Clinic Director, a high-volume, multi-specialty dental clinic focused on technology, integrated care, and an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operations of the UCSF Dental Practice, ensuring alignment with UCSF Health standards. Drive operational excellence, including financial performance and sustainability, quality assurance and risk management, standard operating procedures, and patient safety and incident reporting. Facilitate clinical and consultative conferences to support integrated, collaborative care. Oversee a multidisciplinary dental team including professional and ancillary staff. Provide direct patient care as a Prosthodontist with a focus on complex restorative and prosthodontic treatments. Diagnose and treat oral diseases and functional conditions requiring prosthodontic intervention; consult and collaborate with other dental and medical providers to deliver interdisciplinary care; participate in advancing digital dentistry and technology-enhanced treatment modalities. Required Qualifications

Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). Completion of a post-doctoral residency program in prosthodontics. CODA-accredited training program in Prosthodontics. Must be eligible for licensure or special permit in California. Proven experience as a prosthodontist. Strong dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and patient management skills. Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective communication and collaborative decision making. Strong clinic/center patient care management skills, with knowledge of scheduling, customer-service methods, regulatory compliance, accreditation requirements, and/or information technology. Commitment to using an antiracist/anti-oppressive framework in patient care, education, teaching, and advocacy. Preferred Qualifications

American Board of Prosthodontics certification (preferred). Knowledge of healthcare information technology and patient care workflows; familiar with Epic, Axium, and billing processes. Ability to lead multiple dentists and staff in a busy clinic. Skills in complex esthetic and reconstructive dentistry. Licensure/Certification

CODA-accredited prosthodontics training. Must be eligible for licensure or special permit in California. About UCSF
