The

Account Payable Specialist

at Scott Robinson Automotive Group is responsible for maintaining accurate and timely payments to vendors and ensuring all financial transactions are recorded correctly. This is a full-time, individual contributor role located in Torrance, California. Compensation & Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $40,000 to $55,000 per year, paid biweekly. Employees also have access to a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, group life insurance as well as a 401(k) plan and vacation time. Also, will be eligible for employee discounts. Responsibilities

Process accounts payable transactions including verifying and reconciling invoices, coding expenses, and obtaining proper approvals. Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner. Ensure accurate and timely payments to vendors while adhering to company policies and payment terms. Reconcile vendor statements and research and resolve any discrepancies. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing journal entries and reports. Work with other departments to ensure proper recording of all financial transactions. Maintain AP reports and records and assist with audits as needed. Adhere to company policies and procedures and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounts payable or general accounting. Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organization and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Automotive industry experience preferred but not required. EEOC Statement
