We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Cardiology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services in the field of cardiology. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the well-being of patients and contributing to the success of our healthcare projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse cardiology cases and make a significant impact on patient care. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough examinations of patients to assess their cardiac health. Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for patients with various cardiac conditions. Perform diagnostic tests such as ECGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively. Provide education to patients and their families on cardiac health and disease prevention. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment strategies. Stay current with advancements in cardiology treatments and technologies. Requirements
Medical degree (MD or DO) with specialization in Cardiology. Board certification in Cardiology. Valid state medical license to practice as a Cardiologist. Proven experience working in a clinical setting, preferably in cardiology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy in patient diagnosis and treatment. Schedule: 24-hour call, specific dates Patient Volume: 25 per shift Support Staff: APPs, nurses EMR: eCW Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
