We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Cardiology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services in the field of cardiology. Conduct thorough examinations of patients with cardiovascular conditions. Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for cardiology patients. Perform diagnostic tests and procedures related to heart health. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on heart disease prevention and management. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all cardiology patients. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases. Stay current with advancements in cardiology treatments and technologies. Requirements
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution. Board certification in Cardiology. Possess a valid state medical license to practice as a Cardiologist. Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating various cardiovascular conditions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities. Commitment to providing high-quality and compassionate patient care. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-5p Call: Occasional 24-hour weekend call Daily Volume: 11-12 patients Patient Population: 65+ Setting: Outpatient and inpatient Responsibilities: Inpatient rounding, consultations, ECG, ECHO, and nuclear study readings EMR: Cerner Support Staff: Clinic staff Must be board-certified Paid travel & lodging
