The Hay-Adams is a downtown Washington, D.C. hotel known for refined hospitality and exceptional guest experience, with views of the White House, St. John’s Church, and Lafayette Park.
We are seeking a passionate HR Operations Manager to join a team that defines excellence in hospitality.
Responsibilities
Administer and manage daily HR activities to ensure efficiency and compliance, while providing support in employee relations. Manage the recruitment and retention process for the property for both hourly and salaried team members, ensuring fair hiring practices and completion of all new-hire paperwork. Implement and maintain recognition programs and administer team member surveys. Monitor and administer compensation and benefits for hourly and salaried team members. Manage the onboarding process for new hires and conduct new hire orientations with completion of new-hire paperwork. Track and maintain employee training requirements. Lead HR projects to improve processes. Required Skills and Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or equivalent experience preferred. SHRM-CP preferred. Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Two+ years of HR experience required and 1 year in HR management. Strong preference for hospitality or service industry experience. Must have strong organizational and communication skills and a professional presence, with a solid business focus and effective interpersonal skills. Bilingual Preferred Physical Requirements:
